The Aether Select's bevelled Mahogany body makes an excellent tonal foundation for a pair of Truenobucker pickups. Spanish for 'Thunder-buckers,' these pickups definitely deliver on their name. Weighing in it at 16k Ohms in the bridge and 11.2k Ohms in the neck, these spicy pickups excel at searing licks and thick, beefy riffs with plenty of texture and depth. They're even surprisingly well-suited to jazz, if you can bring yourself to dial down the gain! With coil-splitting engaged, the Aether pulls off sparkly and articulate crystalline clean tones with ease.
